Read about Wade's wife, Theresa...

Former Galt resident Theresa Bolding, 60, passed away June 13, 2020 at home in Auburn, Calif. She was born on Feb. 10, 1960 in Wahiawa, Hawaii to Kenneth and El Wonda Collier. She married the love of her life, Wade Bolding, on Feb. 15, 1986.

Growing up, Theresa attended Pacific Grove High School and thoroughly enjoyed living in the Monterey Bay area as a teenager. For many years, she ran large child care centers, in both San Jose and Galt, before becoming a Member Service Specialist at California Community Credit Union.

Theresa loved spending time with friends and family, and dearly loved her little dog, Chewy. Her hands were rarely still as she had a passion for crafts, including quilting, crocheting, drawing and painting. She also loved to play Bingo and was known to play a slot machine or two. She enjoyed watching game shows, The Waltons, Little House on the Prairie and, of course, General Hospital, as well.

Surviving Theresa are her daughter, Melissa Bolding of Orangevale; her mother, El Wonda (Dee) Collier of Valley Springs; sisters Janet Bertozzi of Valley Springs, Cheryl Perucca of Galt and Bundy Francis of Valley Springs; brothers Danny Collier of La Grange and Dennis Collier of Kansas

Theresa was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Wade Bolding, as well as by her father Kenneth Collier Sr.
